I'm a liar.

Yea, I totally lied about keeping up with this "blog" thing. But, I will offer you an update of sorts...

We've got a few shows coming that you should bring your lil butts to.

July 28th @ Slowdown - MAHA Music Festival Showcase with Digital Leather, Fortnight and Millions of Boys. We really, really like all of these bands - you should to.

August 13th @ Aksarben Village - MAHA Music Festival with Cursive, J Mascis, Guided By Voices, Matisyahu, Rev Horton Heat, Envy Corps, Noah's Ark Was a Spaceship, Machete Archive, Somasphere +1tba - pretty effing stoked to play this one.

August 27th @ Farnam Festival with Little Brazil, Kyle Harvey, All Young Girls are Machine Guns and Blue Bird.

Last but not least, we are figuring out details for the record release. We'll keep you posted. Or not. But probably will.

Well crap.

So we haven't been quite diligent enough updating this deal. Here's the skinny:

The record has been finished. And it sounds pretty darn good (if we do say so). We're looking to find a home for it, and a good time to release it.

We played some shows with some good bands that you should know. Cowboy Indian Bear, Cursive, Pharmacy Spirits, Fortnight, Down with the Ship and Blue Bird. Seriously, find them. You shan't be disappointed.

And finally, we will be opening for the New Pornographers next Thursday at the Waiting Room. Couldn't be more excited for a show than this one. Again, seriously. Such a great band to share the night with.

Phew. We're going to try and stay on top of this blog. Don't hate.

The Long Haul

Hey, just letting you know we're gearing up to record in a few weeks. We'll be heading to ARC (fantastic studio btw) to work with Mr. Ben Brodin (fantastic engineer/musician/dude btw). We're pretty stoked.
